The Queen of Bingo was originally written for two women as the sisters, Sis and Babe. Productions based in Los Angeles decided to give the show a fresh new look. In the tradition of the hilarious Harvey Korman and Tim Conway sketches from the old Carol Burnett Show, they recast the roles of Sis and Babe as two guys portraying the two gals and the show became an instant hit across the country
